The bridge was completed in 1883, making it one of the oldest suspension bridges in the nation and an essential piece of the city's skyline. The bridge connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, extending 1,595.5 feet over the East River. Other art showcased at the museum include works by Diego Velázquez, Francisco de Goya, El Greco, and Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida, among others.
