Stroll through the gardens of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see over 10,000 species of plant life thriving in the city. The BBG sprawls over 52 acres near the Prospect Heights, Crown Heights and Park Slope neighborhoods. The garden is occupied by the Steinhardt Conservatory where the C.V. The New Jersey Nets is a professional basketball team that plays in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. The team has been to the NBA playoffs twice but lost both times, in 2002 to the Los Angeles Lakers and in 2003 to the San Antonio Spurs.
