From creativity to world culture, art and science, The Children's Museum of Manhattan has plenty of entertaining exhibits and attractions to occupy and educate its pint-sized visitors. While exploring Staten Island, stop at the Alice Austen House for a unique museum experience. The Dutch Colonial style home, often referred to as Clear Comfort, was built between 1690 and 1750, and belonged to photographer Alice Austen until 1945. The home now houses a museum featuring work from Austen and other photographers. The Austen House also offers etiquette classes, art camps and small concerts.
Circle in the Square was founded in 1951 and is one of the oldest producing theaters in New York. The entertainment venue is known for producing the theatrical works of Bellow, Capote, Moliere, Shakespeare, Steinbeck, Thomas, Wilder and Williams. Some notable actors who have graced the stage at Circle in the Square are: Peter Falk, Dustin Hoffman, James Earl Jones, Nathan Lane, Al Pacino, Vanessa Redgrave, George C.
