World famous chefs, out-of-this-world cuisine, and some of the best wines ever made can all be found at the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, presented by Food & Wine magazine. Along with meeting celebrity chefs, tasting world-class entrees, and guzzling sumptuous wines, you'll be doing the city a favor as all the proceeds from this event benefit the Food Bank for New York City.

M.I.A, Missy Higgins, Beastie Boys, Tegan and Sara, Dream Theater, Boy George, Robert Earl Keen, Nine Inch Nails, Kid Cudi, Deadmau5, Florence and the Machine, The Smashing Pumpkins, and hundreds more have performed at Terminal 5. Tour the attraction that is the world-famous Yankee Stadium. Home to Major League Baseball's New York Yankees, the 50,000+ seat stadium boasts a Hard Rock Cafe, a steakhouse called NYY and the Mohegan Sun sports bar. The facility is embellished with hundreds of photographs detailing the history of the Yankees franchise; the exhibition of the photos includes over 2,000 pictures from sources like the Daily News, Getty Images, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Major League Baseball. There's also the Yankees museum on-site, which is a must-see for die-hard sports fans.

The Museum for African Art was founded in 1984 to raise awareness, understanding and appreciation of African art and culture. The museum has organized nearly 60 critically acclaimed exhibitions that have traveled to almost 140 venues worldwide, including 15 foreign countries. The most well-known exhibitions have been the "Art/Artifact: African Art in Anthropology Collections" in 1988, "Exhibition-ism: Museums and African Art" in 1994, and "Africa Explores: 20th-Century African Art" in 1991.
