Enjoy the view of New York City taken in from the Top of the Rock, located at the top of the GE Building in the world-famous Rockefeller Center. With a panoramic view of the city that rivals that available atop the Empire State Building, your evening is sure to give way to romance as you take in the beauty of the city together.
Fans of classical music will enjoy seeing a performance at Bargemusic. This classical music venue was founded in 1977 and makes its home in Brooklyn. Bargemusic is unique because it's a converted coffee barge, docked on the East River at Fulton Ferry. The barge is 102-feet-long and can seat 130 people comfortably for performances. The venue hosts about 220 concerts annually in front of the scenic view of the East River and the lower Manhattan skyline.
See the stunning architecture of the United Nations Headquarters, located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan. The complex was built in 1950 on land donated by the Rockefeller family and the famous building overlooks the East River on what is considered "international territory." The building is highly identifiable due to the fact that its perimeter fence is lined with flagpoles presenting the flags of all the UN member states and the UN flag.
Tee off at Bayonne Golf Club, a golf course that Sports Illustrated has called the "most audacious golf course in the world." The private links style, waterfront golf course has 18 holes sprawled across twisting greens and lofty dunes, paying tribute to the seaside courses of Scotland and Ireland. The waterfront setting offers opportunity for ocean breezes and extraordinary views of New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline.
