Be a trail blazer at Genesee Riverway Trail, a 9 mile off-road trail for walking, running and bicycling along the Genesee River. On your journey down the outdoor trail, you'll travel through the scenic, historical, and cultural heart of Rochester to travel over eight pedestrian bridges, around three waterfalls, and through eleven parks.

Reserve a table for two at the Osteria Rocco, where you and your date can dine on sliced flatiron steak, new potatoes, sweet corn, and pesto alla Genovese. Pair the sumptuous meal with a warm glass of wine, and the unassuming, yet, intimate atmosphere and the evening will be off to a romantic start. Reservations are recommended.

Join the crowds at the Rochester Public Market. You might have to wiggle your way around one of the cheapest places to shop in Rochester. Vendors here have their hands over backstock that's been sitting in warehouses for weeks, or farm fresh vendors that just picked their foods the day before!
