The building itself is considered a work of art, as this sleek building was completed in 1968 following the design of I.M. Pei. Syracuse's Niagara Mohawk Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an outstanding example of Art Deco architecture and a symbol of the Age of Electricity.
