Come by the beautiful Blossom Music Center near the gorgeous Cuyahoga Valley National Park for a memorable performance by the Porthouse Theatre. Operating during the summer, this premier outdoor theater group sets their stage against the beautiful backdrop of nature. Feel free to bring along a picnic when you head to enjoy the entertainment at this pavilion theater.

The expansive Ohio & Erie Canalway covers hundreds of square miles along the first 110 miles of this famous canal. A National Heritage Area, the Ohio & Erie Canalway preserves miles of rails, trails, landscapes, towns and sites that sprung up along its waters. Enjoy the outdoor beauty of America’s Byway as you walk down one of the 48 trailheads nearby.

Step back in time at the Hower House, a 28-room Victorian Mansion built in 1871 by John Henry Hower. This Akron Industrialist’s mansion remained well preserved and eventually was declared a National Historic Landmark. Take a public or private tour to see the collection of Victorian-era treasures and furnishings that have been collected over the decades.
