The path winds through many diverse neighborhoods and past historical landmarks. This USATF sanctioned course may even qualify you for the Boston Marathon.

The expansive Ohio & Erie Canalway covers hundreds of square miles along the first 110 miles of this famous canal. A National Heritage Area, the Ohio & Erie Canalway preserves miles of rails, trails, landscapes, towns and sites that sprung up along its waters. Enjoy the outdoor beauty of America’s Byway as you walk down one of the 48 trailheads nearby.

You don’t have to wait until Thursday to visit the popular Thursday’s Lounge. Join in the festivities all week–and weekend–long! Known as Akron’s dance institution, this nightlife venue is one of the best places to party in the city. Get your groove on as you sip on a wide variety of beers and cocktails from the full bar.

Get a different perception of the world’s past at the Akron Fossils & Science Center. This family-friendly center presents a variety of hands-on exhibits and attractions designed to showcase the fossils and artifacts from the view of creation science and intelligent design, rather than the accepted scientific models of planetary and animal evolution, making it one of the most unique museums of its kind in America.
