Beer lovers unite! Bockfest, the oldest bock beer festival in the country, celebrates not only Cincinnati’s brewing heritage but also the beginning of spring. Events kick off with a parade, led by the reigning Sausage Queen and a goat pulling a bock beer keg. Afterward, the weekend is filled with live entertainment, great food, walking tours, brewing demonstrations and lots and lots of beer.

There's plenty of fun to be had in Cincinnati but if you're a fan of the old adage, "the grass is greener on the other side" then consider taking a trip over the Ohio River and exploring the attractions at Newport on the Levee. This exciting destination offers something for everyone whether you're looking for retail therapy, a great place to have dinner and drinks, family fun or a night on the town. We recommend you check out the underwater attractions at the Newport Aquarium, knock down some pins at Star Lanes on the Levee Bowling, or walk on water at Hamsters Water Balls.

See the Harriet Beecher Stowe House, where the author famous for penning Uncle Tom’s Cabin was born and raised. This preserved family home has been maintained and restored. Travel back in time, as you enter through the doors, to an era on the brink of Civil War, and get a glimpse into the lives of a family filled with human rights activists.
