Not sure where you’re going? The American Sign Museum can help point you in the right direction. This specialized museum features over 200 signs and other objects from all over the US. Learn about the design and manufacturing of these roadside staples through a series of fun exhibits and displays.

Celebrate the history of the abolitionist movement at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Dedicated to the efforts of black and white Americans who fought to end slavery, this unique museum educates the public about the horrors of slavery and the struggle for civil rights while honoring those who found freedom and those who lost their lives searching for it.

Follow the Boy Scout guide, available for free printing on the website, for the Dan Beard Riverwalk. This simple, 5-mile recreational trail follows the riverfront starting from the famous Newport Southbank Bridge, originally known as the L&N Bridge and popularly dubbed the Purple People Bridge. Just follow the inset Riverwalk logos and read through the guide to discover some interesting history along the trail.

Another major player in Cincy’s cultural scene is the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, or CSO. The fifth oldest orchestra in the US, the CSO is well known throughout the world for its recordings and tours. For over 200 years, the CSO has brought evolutionary music to Ohio and continues to do so with its year-round performances. Hear them play in the historic Music Hall!
