Welcome in the spring with the quaint and charming Appalachian Festival, a three-day music and crafts festivals on Coney Island. Begun almost a decade ago in the basement of the Cincinnati Music Hall, this annual festival has grown into the Cincinnati Junior League’s biggest event, drawing in more than 130 crafters, dozens of entertainers and nearly 50,000 people!

If you want to see a traditionally performed and thoughtfully crafted theatrical piece, look no further. Contrary to the name, this theater troupe produces all manner of classical plays, from Jane Austen adaptations to works by the Great Bard himself.
The fourth largest park in Cincinnati, Ault Park transforms during the summer into a colorful outdoor wonderland. The beautiful Summer Dance Series gardens bring a splash of bright flowers not seen in any other park. Enjoy this floral explosion as you walk along the paths, or join in on one of the many festivities in the large pavilion.
