Beer lovers unite! Bockfest, the oldest bock beer festival in the country, celebrates not only Cincinnati’s brewing heritage but also the beginning of spring. Events kick off with a parade, led by the reigning Sausage Queen and a goat pulling a bock beer keg. Afterward, the weekend is filled with live entertainment, great food, walking tours, brewing demonstrations and lots and lots of beer.

Take a break at the Essencha Tea House and escape from your busy life. This tranquil little teahouse serves delightful brews from all over the globe in its charming rooms. The sleek and elegant décor sets a nice background for you (and a group) to experiment and create your own tea drinking rituals.

Down by the Lunken Airport Playfield is the Lunken Playfield Loop, a 5-mile paved recreation trail that can be found behind the airport. Get some fresh air in the city and enjoy the wide-open views, and the spectacular sight of airplanes taking off and landing nearby, as you hike, jog, bike or skate in this large loop.

See where the 27th president of the United States was born and raised when you come by the William Howard Taft National Historic Site. This two-story Greek Revival house has been perfectly preserved and meticulously maintained over the years. Established as a National Historic Site in 1969, this house is now open as a museum for the public.
