A popular destination for aquatic recreation is Wallace Lake in Berea. Not only is the lake plentifully stocked with rainbow trout to please the many anglers who visit, but you can also enjoy a swim or a canoe ride on the water too. Artistic expression comes in many forms at Cleveland's Museum of Contemporary Art. For example, you can take in a visually captivating display of life-sized porcelain pigs facing a lectern or the sharp social commentary that is put forth by an exhibit that features various television monitors repeating nonsense syllables over and over again. Established in 1968, this museum features no permanent collections as to constantly attract (and challenge) art lovers to return periodically to see their impressive rotating exhibits.

Catching a rough but impressive up-and-coming band or seeing an established group play at Cleveland's Agora Theater and Ballroom is much like having the musicians hang out in your living room. The entertainment venue is thick with retro charm and a certain kind of roughness that is superbly genuine. The sound system may be a bit distorted and the crowd may not be the most refined, but the spirit of the venue only adds a sense of authenticity to whatever is happening on stage. There are two stages for concerts as well as a smaller lounge for more low-profile performances.
