The Toledo Walleye is an ECHL hockey team that plays at the Huntington Center. They are a farm team for the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Rockford Icehogs of the AHL, and the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL.
Metroparks in Toledo is a group of parks and green, wide open spaces all linked by the same group of recreation trails. They are ideal for walking, running and cycling. The group of cycling trails is the host spot for the Metroparks Bicycle Tour that includes a choice of a 10, 31 or 100 mile loop.
The Toledo Ballet has always had a good reason to dance. This entertainment group has been maintaining its impressive tradition of stunning, impressively choreographed performances for over 70 years and there is no sign of stopping. In addition to presenting works that are based on the classics, the ballet also incorporates modern touches to different presentations throughout their season. This includes elements of jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater that all work to not only challenge the dancers to new levels of performance, but also appeals to a wider audience who otherwise may not have ever thought of catching one of the ballet's mesmerizing performances.

Formerly COSI, this amazing venue touts the wonders of science in a fun and highly interactive way. The kids will love the many experiments, exhibits and attractions that will draw them into and make them part of various scientific principles, but they will also enjoy some of the special features here like Mindbender Mansion and various summer camp programs. There are also special tour packages available to groups and area schools.
