If it's loud and fast and makes you want to pump your fist in the air, then you're probably experiencing one of the highly electrified hard rock bands that frequently take the stage at Innovation Concerts. This extremely popular live music venue hosts a steady schedule of some of the loudest, most insanely out of control metal bands from around the world. There's always a show on the schedule, and the entertainment venue does an excellent job of updating its website with information on the latest additions to the performance schedule. So make it out to Innovation Concerts and rock on, dude!
Even though the bar may be called Village Idiot, this is one of the smartest destinations for nighttime fun. This bar attracts a primarily young, alternative crowd of 20 and 30-year-olds. Live music is featured every Thursday through Sunday night and the bands perform everything from alternative to blues to Dead Head classics. The atmosphere is trendy, as the nightlife venue features high ceilings and an expansive area to mingle and dance. The attire (and atmosphere) is cool but casual.
Copper Moon Studio showcases the unique creations of area artists. This is one of the area's most endearing shops, and in addition to seeing some amazing locally produced art, there is also an equally inviting selection of mementos and gifts that are highly appealing in both their style and presentation. Among the many great finds here include jewelry, stained glass, paintings and photographs. There are even garden accents, mirrors and mosaics available, too.
Rev it up in a fun Alexis go-kart, play a challenging round of miniature golf, swing around in the batting cages or get jolted as you steer your bumper car around at the popular Par 2 Golf Courses. This is a great family fun recreation destination that offers not only an excellent choice of fun activities, but also a generous concession area as well as place for parents to comfortably wait for the kids to finish their trek on the go-kart or bumper car tracks.
