Maumee State Park offers plenty of enticing natural amenities. One of the most popular is the availability of two sand beaches. One of these beaches is located on the Lake Erie shore while the other one is available via the park's inland lake. The beaches boast a concession area as well as amenities like bathrooms and changing booths.

The whole family will go wild for the wildlife that you will encounter at the Toledo Zoo. The attraction has the distinction of being the country's most complete zoo, meaning that the animals that are kept here in their natural habitats most represent the many species found in the natural environment. This group of vendors is well worth finding, as they are located within the same area as the Erie Street Market which is indoors, but there are various vendors who set up tents in and around the area. You will find an unmatched selection of homegrown produce and herbs as well as baked goods, handmade crafts, plants and fresh cut flowers.
