Festival Americas is a free, family-friendly event that offers something for everyone. Not only is Festival Americas a fun and entertaining event, but it also aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in Tulsa's Hispanic & Latino community. The Festival offers college scholarships and community funding to college-bound students during the event. Over the past five years, Festival Americas has awarded $35,000 in college scholarships thanks to the support of generous sponsors and vendors. With over 35,000 attendees, 125 performers, art vendors, 30 scholarship recipients, and even 3 Latin Grammy performers, Festival Americas is the ultimate celebration of Latin American culture in Oklahoma.

Did you know that the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum is home to eight exhibit galleries that showcase artifacts and archives from Tulsa's rich history? Established in 1963, the museum has an extensive collection of over 400,000 still photographs, books, maps, documents, textiles, architectural elements, building furnishings, and personal artifacts. Interestingly, from 1985 to 1998, the museum was located in the Thomas Gilcrease house on the Gilcrease Museum grounds. Later, in December of 1997, THSM purchased the historic Sam Travis Mansion, which was renovated and expanded to serve as the museum's new headquarters.
