The Woody Guthrie Center offers an immersive experience into the world of the legendary singer and songwriter Woody Guthrie. Visitors can listen to his recorded songs, read his lyric journals, and even create their own music. Additionally, the center features exhibits, archives, and research areas for further exploration. Visitors can also learn about the rise of contemporary DJ culture in New York City and the significant role that women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community played in shaping this new form of music-making and melting pot social experience.
