A hands-on approach is highly encouraged when you encounter the many interactive science and technology exhibits and attractions that are found here. Plus, the live star shows and full-dome videos are just two of the many exhibits that the whole family will marvel at. The facility also presents special events, classes, and offers the perfect setting for group gatherings and birthday parties. There's also an excellent gift shop that you will definitely want to visit.

Escape without having to go too far when you plan to spend a little romantic time together on a date at Hendricks Park. This is Eugene's oldest city park and it offers several natural amenities that will make your time together quite memorable. Over its sprawling 78 acres, the two of you will find a mature forest to marvel at, a highly-recognized rhododendron garden to admire, and several winding trails on which to stroll casually hand in hand.

If it's a must-see show or performance, it's bound to be happening at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to an impressive schedule of musical and dramatic performances, you'll also encounter a truly stunning permanent art collection on display at this incredible entertainment venue. The Hult is also the residence of such companies as the Eugene Ballet, the Eugene Concert Choir, and the Eugene Symphony.

The Ridgeline Trail Loop begins at the base of Spencer Butte and follows the Ridgeline Trail across Fox Hollow Road, forms a loop, and then ends back at Spencer Butte Park. This recreation trail is mainly used for running but also accommodates hikers, mountain bikers and leashed dogs. The elevation is at 250 feet and the trail stretches for a total of 7 miles.
