Eugene is home to the Eugene Emeralds, a short-season Class A minor league baseball team. The “Ems,” as they are commonly referred to, play their home games in PK Park which is also the home of the University of Oregon baseball team.
Eugene's WOW Hall is a truly historic building that is owned by the Community for the Performing Arts. This is a nonprofit organization that has impressively preserved the vintage Woodmen of the World Hall as a truly memorable performing arts venue. Various performances as well as art exhibits and other entertainment are offered at the WOW Hall, supported by approximately 900 members and 400 volunteers.

That element of surprise and discovery is what makes a visit to the Lane County Historical Society and Museum so much fun. This fascinating venue was established to collect, preserve and interpret the history of Lane County. It accomplishes its mission quite well through the use of various exhibits, presentations and children's educational programs.
