The trails stretch around 40 miles and in the wilderness throughout live a variety of mammals, birds, and lush vegetation. With much of the park overlooking the Willamette River, you're guaranteed some of the best views of the city.

Learn about Jewish history and culture at the Oregon Jewish Museum. Along with an extensive archive collection, the museum hosts several exhibits including traveling features. Some of the exhibitions showcased include Transport – Works by Henk Pander and Esther Podemski and The Dawn of Tomorrow: Oregon Jews and Woman Suffrage.

Head to Oaks Pioneer Church and Park for some peace and meditation in nature. The church was originally built in 1851 as St. John's Episcopal Church but was later moved to its present location at the edge of Sellwood Park in 1961. The church and historic landmark is a popular destination for weddings, and offers plenty of surrounding trails for exploring the park.
