The Whiskey Bar is a destination for everyone. This nightlife destination plays a variety of music, from hip-hop to rock and everything in between. Whiskey Bar prides itself on celebrating the real reason for spending a night out on the town, “good friends, good music, GREAT fun.”
Take the time to stop by and see one of the city's most significant pieces of public art, Portlandia. Located at the Michael Graves' Portland Building entrance, the statue is a reincarnation of the city seal, designed as a woman holding a trident and welcoming visitors to the building. The statue is the second largest copper repousse in the nation, surpassed only by the Statue of Liberty.
Buy your next piece of art at the Art in the Pearl event. This festival features a variety of paintings, glassworks, sculpture and other arts by local and regional artists, along with handcrafted goods, jewelry, furniture and more. The event has been a part of the community for over 15 years.
See the natural beauty of Portland first hand at the Hoyt Arboretum. The arboretum was founded to conserve endangered species and wilderness. There are over 12 miles of trails that weave throughout the 187-acre expanse, offering you the perfect vantage point to observe the beauty of Oregon.
