Along with its gorgeous views and blooming cherry blossom trees, the park is home to a number of important landmarks, including the Japanese American Historical Plaza.

Whether you want to appreciate your love for nature or revel in your Catholic faith, The Grotto is the place to do it. The National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother, or The Grotto, is a Catholic shrine and a botanical garden. The 62-acre garden includes beautiful plants, several sculptures, and walking paths throughout.

Explore the world of fine arts through the galleries at the Portland Art Museum. As you walk through, you'll see works in a variety of media, including paintings, sculpture, installations, photography, mixed media and more. Highlights include the Schnitzer Sculpture Court and the Crumpacker Family Library.

Check out a concert at Portland's Wonder Ballroom. This entertainment venue brings live music to its stage several times a month. Metric, Tiger Army, Citizen Cope, The Wailers, Hot Hot Heat, and The Wallflowers are just a few bands who've performed here. After the show, head to the Under Wonder Lounge, the venue's basement cafe. The cafe serves up some good food and tasty cocktails.
