Head to Oaks Pioneer Church and Park for some peace and meditation in nature. The church was originally built in 1851 as St. John's Episcopal Church but was later moved to its present location at the edge of Sellwood Park in 1961. The church and historic landmark is a popular destination for weddings, and offers plenty of surrounding trails for exploring the park.
Travel back in time to the homes of yesteryear and tour the Pittock Mansion. This chateau was built in Portland's West Hills in 1909, and boasts stunning architectural features and rich décor throughout. The home serves as a memorial to its first tenants, Henry and Georgiana Pittock, who played a great role in the development and prosperity of the city.
