The Please Touch Museum is built around the opposite philosophy: it encourages children to touch, play and explore in its six interactive exhibit zones. Nestled along the Schuylkill River, the aptly named Schuylkill River Park provides a large municipal space for outdoor recreation. From the soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis and basketball courts to the special section designated for dogs, this recreational center offers plenty of activities. Eventually, construction will connect this park to the popular Schuylkill River Trail.

Raise a glass to Tippler’s Tour. This adult only tour is held at 5:30PM on Thursdays from April until December during which participants can enjoy a selection of local brews as they learn about the city’s history. This Historic Pub Crawl creates a setting of 1777 and teaches guests about the tribulations of being a British soldier in Philadelphia, the taverns of the day and a few other fun tidbits. Cheers!

Famous for its large LOVE sculpture, Love Park brings together concrete and greenery in a harmonious outdoor marriage. This mixed-use urban park features a large single spout fountain, large granite walk areas and benches.
