Visit Fort Mifflin and see one of the most unique historical sites in the US. Commissioned in 1771, this fort and its surrounding area played vital roles during the American Revolution and the Civil War. When Fort Mifflin was decommissioned in 1952, its 14 authentically restored buildings were opened to the public so they could see "The Fort that Saved America."

Fans of Auguste Rodin will not miss the Rodin Museum for the world. This famous French artist created works such as The Gates of Hell, the Burghers of Calais and The Thinker. In fact, the last piece greets visitors as they enter the courtyard. Enjoy the largest collection of the magnificent sculptor’s work seen outside of Paris!

See the Philly NHL team fly across the ice in the Wells Fargo Center. The Philadelphia Flyers won two Stanley Cups during the 1970s and continue to rake in conference and division titles. Wear orange, black and white when you join the crowd and root for the Flyers as they take on their opponents—especially their bitter cross-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins!

Nestled along the Schuylkill River, the aptly named Schuylkill River Park provides a large municipal space for outdoor recreation. From the soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis and basketball courts to the special section designated for dogs, this recreational center offers plenty of activities. Eventually, construction will connect this park to the popular Schuylkill River Trail.
