Located in Fairmount Park, this enormous playground attraction covers over six and a half acres, not including the 24,000-square-foot mansion that serves as a playhouse for children 10 and under. Explore the Morris Arboretum’s lush tree-lined paths and bright, colorful gardens. With more than 13,000 labeled plants representing over 2,500 different species, it is no surprise that the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania is the official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. See horticulture from North America, Europe and Asia all together in one outdoor venue.

Lace up your skates or rollerblades and head towards the Palace Roller Skating & Fun Center. This roller skating rink is fun for people of all ages and all skill levels. Public skating and skating classes are available most days of the week, although the facility does allow private rentals as well for birthday parties and group functions.

Take in the marvelous works at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, one of the largest art museums in the country. Known as the Parthenon on the Parkway, this enormous museum features a quasi-Greek Revival design.
