Since 1962, Stage 62 has continuously presented at least four plays annually. Catch a musical in November, a children’s show in February, a drama/comedy in May and a musical in July. This non-profit theater company resides in the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, where you can catch a seasonal performance or one of the additional special events.

Take a ride down the Monongahela River at Historic Station Square with the Gateway Clipper Fleet. Symbolic of Pittsburgh’s river renaissance, this three-riverboat fleet recalls the time when Pittsburgh was known as the Gateway to the West. The Backstage Bar is open to the public, no tickets required, and often features free performances by local bands.

Young ones can let their imaginations soar at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Specially designed play areas and galleries provide entertaining, educational fun for kids. Toddlers have their own special area designed to suit their developmental needs. Older children will have a blast exploring the interactive attractions spread throughout the museum.
