The perfect place to do that in Providence is Richardson Park. The kids will love the PlayBooster and PlayShaper attractions as well as the Humpty Climbers and swings that are all part of this beautiful park. For the older kids, there's fun to be had on the basketball courts, a water park and the big expansive lawn. An afternoon of great family fun awaits at Richardson Park.

Nature lovers with an adventurous spirit will love exploring all of the incredible indoor and outdoor sites that can be found at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center. This venue features the largest indoor display of gardens in the New England area. The Conservatory and greenhouses are situated on over 12,000 feet of gardens. The East Bay Bicycle Path is a great way to get to the beach from downtown Providence. This scenic recreation path offers much to see on your way that you will arrive at your destination before you know it! This 14.5 mile asphalt path is popular not only in Providence but in Bristol Counties as well.
