Nationally recognized talents like Dennis Miller and Rosie O’Donnell are just two of the comedians who have graced the stage at this popular club on the nightlife scene. This venue has ties to the Boston entertainment Comedy Connection at Faneuil Hall, which serves to explain the consistently entertaining (not to mention hilarious) performers that are regularly on the bill.

Kids love to play on fun playground rides. But in doing that, they can also learn about the importance of being a good neighbor when you take them to the Peace and Plenty Community Park. This long-awaited community playground attraction has been in the making for some time, and now that it has been unveiled, it symbolizes the importance of working together. Neighbors, community families and the City of Providence Parks Department have all collaborated to create this fun place on the site that was once an old apartment building. Since that structure was demolished, this beacon of unity stands in its place for friends and families to enjoy.

The Trinity Repertory Company is one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Founded in 1964, it features a highly acclaimed resident company that utilizes the many talents of its performers to bring an impressive selection of both classic and contemporary works and entertainment to the stage. The theater also looks to the future, as many talented performers also participate in conducting acting classes for both children and adults.

Providence is home to the Providence Bruins, a professional sports team that is part of the American Hockey League. The Bruins play their home games at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. In addition to offering great fan-based promotions and giveaways at the games, there are also lots of fun, seasonal-themed contests at every home game.
