The Trinity Repertory Company is one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Founded in 1964, it features a highly acclaimed resident company that utilizes the many talents of its performers to bring an impressive selection of both classic and contemporary works and entertainment to the stage. The theater also looks to the future, as many talented performers also participate in conducting acting classes for both children and adults.

Kids are used to being told to keep their hands off of things. Luckily for them, the opposite is the case when the whole family visits the Providence Children's Museum. A hands-on approach is highly encouraged as the kids are able to create their own artwork using the provided paints and other modes of expression. The exhibits and attractions are hands-on and are highly informative and entertaining, presenting such subjects as a time traveling adventure through Rhode Island's multicultural history, and a wet and wild exploration of the ways of water. Every step you take on the Providence Ghost Tour echoes with a touch of haunted drama. This walking tour explores the East Side of Providence which is the most historic part of the city. Walk by lantern through these dark streets as you hear the expert guide tell you of all of the shadowy goings-on of spirits of years past that still manage to make their presence known in one eerie way or another. This popular tour is available from May until November. Make sure to bring your camera...and someone to hold on to!
