At AS220, creative artistic expression is highly encouraged. This popular downtown spot brings together such diverse groups as local artists, families, and tourists to enjoy selections from the city's arts, music and entertainment scene. The venue hosts live performances at least six nights a week that include live bands, poetry readings and performance art, just to name a few. There is also a gallery on site that features a rotating exhibit of the work of local artists.

For a completely different biking or walking experience, make your way to Swan Point Cemetery. This historic site features beautiful plants and monuments. Walking or slow biking on the trail is allowed. Also, out of respect for the families who have loved ones buried here, proper attire is requested.

Every step you take on the Providence Ghost Tour echoes with a touch of haunted drama. This walking tour explores the East Side of Providence which is the most historic part of the city. Walk by lantern through these dark streets as you hear the expert guide tell you of all of the shadowy goings-on of spirits of years past that still manage to make their presence known in one eerie way or another.
