But when you step into the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, prepare to be amazed at the depth and breadth of the work that is displayed here. Learn about art that spans ancient Roman sculpture all the way up to modern graphic design. Some of the many highlights and attractions include the 19th century French galleries that feature the work of Matisse, Rodin and Monet, just to name a few. You'll also be captivated by the beautiful pieces that are part of the Greek and Roman galleries that include sculptures and frescoes. The Trinity Repertory Company is one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Founded in 1964, it features a highly acclaimed resident company that utilizes the many talents of its performers to bring an impressive selection of both classic and contemporary works and entertainment to the stage. The theater also looks to the future, as many talented performers also participate in conducting acting classes for both children and adults.

Kids are used to being told to keep their hands off of things. Luckily for them, the opposite is the case when the whole family visits the Providence Children's Museum. A hands-on approach is highly encouraged as the kids are able to create their own artwork using the provided paints and other modes of expression.
