If you like a serving of history along with your outdoor adventure, then Bull Island is your dream destination. Located in Awendaw, SC, just a few minutes outside of Charleston, Bull Island Beach will draw you in to its dramatic stories and sunny shores. Once a haven for pirates, then later the site for the Martellow Tower which didn't survive the Civil War, this area was eventually developed into part of the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge in 1932. That unbreakable bond between history and nature is very much alive, and you can see it everywhere from the picturesque woodland trails all the way to the beach's inviting shores.

Taking the plunge has never been as much fun as it is at Splash Island Waterpark ! This water park has been a favorite of both locals and visitors, as the park features vegetation from the Palmetto County Park to accentuate the surroundings. The attraction features such fun amenities as a recreational pool, a 200-foot water slide and 16-foot otter slide. Also, don't forget to ride the Cyclone, a whirling water ride that's 10 minutes packed with super slippin'-and-slidin' fun!

Don't let the name fool you. Closed For Business is one of Charleston's favorite bars on the nightlife scene, not only because of it's ironic name, but because it boasts an incredible beer selection. Making a choice of what beverage you'll enjoy might be tougher than you think, as the bar features 30 draught beers, roughly 50 bottled beers, a seasonal beer menu, monthly beer menu and even beer flights! But don't worry, if beer isn't your thing, there's an equally impressive set of premium liquors and wines to choose from.
