The Clarence Brown Theatre has a reputation for consistently presenting stellar productions and entertainment that showcase the talents of the students at the University of Tennessee. The group is always on the lookout for talent that will help with their latest endeavors both on stage and off; auditions are regularly held and are open to students and locals as well. Some of their recent productions include Moonlight and Magnolias, It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play and Tartuffe, just to name a few. Theater-goers in Knoxville know that they can always count on seeing a great show when they take their seats at the Clarence Brown Theatre.

Knoxville had the honor of hosting the World's Fair in 1982. One of the most obvious reminders of that momentous event is the fact that the Sunsphere was built to complement the event and it still stands today as a great way for tourists to get a bird's eye view of the city. Visit the various levels and enjoy views of downtown, the University of Tennessee and the mountains in the distance. It's a truly breathtaking experience. The Ewing Gallery, located on the campus of the University of Tennessee, is an impressive venue that features over 3,000 square feet of exhibition space and 300 running feet of wall space that are all perfectly utilized to present some memorable works of art. Contemporary artists and architects have their creations on display, and the permanent collection features various styles rendered in different media. The one thing these pieces all have in common is that they are as captivating as they are thought-provoking. This is a must-see for any art-lover.
