Africa in April Cultural Awareness Festival, Inc. works hard to bring training sessions, networking opportunities and marketing outlets to this festival and to various events throughout the year.

Bring your wild things to see the animals at the Memphis Zoo. The zoo is home to a number of big cats, primates and other African plains mammals, as well as a variety of reptiles, farm animals and exotic creatures from all over the globe. Take the family to an animal attraction or show, such as the Sea Lions or Animals of the Night, or feed the birds at the Birds & Bees house.

The oldest and most successful community theater in the state, Theatre Memphis was founded in 1920 and continues to provide Memphis with enriching theatrical performances and entertainment. Theatre Memphis runs a yearlong season, with 10-11 shows and a sprinkling of special events each season.
