Watch a timeless story performed at the Germantown Community Theatre. Heading into its 50th season, this community theater produces comedies, dramas, classical musicals, and other entertainment that appeals to all ages. Special events, performances and classes occur throughout the year, and the company encourages people of all ages in the community to volunteer and become involved in the art of theater.

Rent a pair of roller-skates or bring your own and head out onto the rink at the Cordova Skating Center. This skating center is open to the public every afternoon except Tuesdays, during skating lessons, and is a popular place for birthday parties. There is also an arcade area, for those not interested in skating.

Looking for a lost record? Find every sort of tune at Goner Records. This record store carries a variety of vinyl albums, as well as a few cassette tapes and CDs. Music aficionados can find popular bands as well as underground and local bands as they wander through the isles.

Walk along the scenic Riverwalk or take a ride on the Monorail at Mud Island River Park, home to plenty of attractions and Memphis's own Adventure Center-the best place to get out and be active within the city.
