For a touch of art integrated into the beauty of nature, visit the Crystal Shrine Grotto. This man-made cave is located inside Memorial Park Cemetery and features the work of Mexican folk artist Dionicio Rodriquez. Ten scenes depict the life of Jesus Christ, but even non-Christians will appreciate the beautiful art and the peaceful ambiance of this grotto.

Go Tigers! Go! Get ramped up for the University of Memphis Tigers. The Memphis Tigers consist of nine women's sports teams and nine men's, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, rifle, soccer, tennis, track and field and volleyball. Wear blue and grey, and come out to support the local college sports teams.

Walk along the scenic Riverwalk or take a ride on the Monorail at Mud Island River Park, home to plenty of attractions and Memphis's own Adventure Center-the best place to get out and be active within the city. Art lovers and nature lovers unite at Dixon Gallery and Gardens. This fine art museum and public garden attraction is known for its diverse and innovative combination of the arts and horticulture. The museum houses over 2,000 objects in its permanent collection and presents eight to ten traveling exhibitions annually. The 17-acre gardens feature formal spaces, woodland tracts and cutting gardens for the public to enjoy.
