This premier heritage and cultural attraction chronicles the Civil Rights Movement from 1619 to 2000. Learn about the influence this movement has had on other human rights movements through the museum's collections, exhibitions, research and educational programs.

Whether you are an experienced rider or have never been on a horse before, Shelby Farms Stables can bring out your inner horse whisperer. Join a guided tour through the woods behind Beaver Lake. These hour-long trail rides are fun for the whole family. Those more serious about riding can also take riding lessons at the stables.
