Sometimes, an intimate chat over a cup of coffee is better than any fancy, expensive evening out. Capture those special one-on-one moments at Roasters Coffee and Tea Co. Choose from an impressive selection of gourmet coffees and teas as well as a luscious pastry or muffin to go along with your selection. The quaint tables and relaxed atmosphere of their shop will only add to the mood, even if the two of you have to rush off to the office after you're done sipping on your beverage.
Visiting the Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian is much more than just a history lesson. The whole family will be drawn into the story of how these first inhabitants of our country were resourceful and creative. See how they survived the North Texas elements to create beautiful art. An extension of that creativity is their custom of dancing as celebration and spiritual homage. Take in the bronze artwork on display by such renowned artists as Thomas E. Mails and Tom Knapp. The Kwahadi Dancers are officially Venture Crew 9 and perform most Friday and Saturday nights. Remember to stop at the gift store to purchase unique art pieces, statues, and other keepsakes.
