Lake Arlington is a favorite destination for fishing, swimming, water recreation and just having some great fun in the North Texas sunshine. Also, the lake is a favorite of boaters as well; don't be surprised to see some impressive sails in the wind, as sailboats glide through the water, especially on weekends and holidays. Don't forget to bring your sunscreen!
Enter the Arlington Bass Classic in April for grand prizes and drawings. Contestants may fish anywhere on tournament waters available to the public and accessible by boat, except areas posted or otherwise designated as off-limits. Kayak and shore fishing are allowed, registered as individual competitors. Only artificial lures may be used for fishing. No live bait is permitted. Only 1 rod at a time, per fisherman may be used.
