There's also the Batman ride, the Roaring Rapids, and Yosemite Sam's Gold River Adventure to choose from, just to name a few of the fun-tastic rides you'll find when you visit this classic park.
The Tierra Verde Golf Club is one of those courses that is inviting for players of all skill levels. The greens, bunkers, fairways and tee boxes are all kept in excellent order, and GolfReview touts the course as one of the nicest overall public courses you'll ever play. The greens are surrounded by picturesque landscaping that includes mesquite trees and area wildlife, making every round just challenging enough. This 18-hole course features 6,975 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72.
Arlington's Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration takes place every January. There are plenty of activities planned at this festival, as well as live music, artwork from area students, and invited speakers that all pay homage to the life and mission of Dr. King.
