Brantley Hinshaw Park
Stuck at the office and need a little breathing room? While you may not be able to travel to the outskirts of town for an escape to nature, you can always head to the centrally located Brantley Hinshaw Park and sit on one of the benches or stroll one of the walking paths to clear your head while you take in some outdoor beauty. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration
Arlington's Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration takes place every January. There are plenty of activities planned at this festival, as well as live music, artwork from area students, and invited speakers that all pay homage to the life and mission of Dr. King. There is also an essay and artwork contest held in conjunction with the festivities.
