Arlington's Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration takes place every January. There are plenty of activities planned at this festival, as well as live music, artwork from area students, and invited speakers that all pay homage to the life and mission of Dr. King. There is also an essay and artwork contest held in conjunction with the festivities.

A day at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is one sure way to stay cool in the Texas heat! This venue offers highly personal theatrical experience, as there are only 200 seats in this quaint little theater that make every performance an intimate affair. On-stage entertainment ranges from excellent family fare to provocative adults-only productions, but either way, you won't miss a minute of the drama that will unfold right before your eyes.
