Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts presents more than 50 free outdoor concerts a year in Downtown Arlington across from City Hall with a broad-based performance calendar of professional music artists including international, jazz, home-grown Texas Country and trail-blazing Indie artists. The Levitt spotlights and gives prominence to original artists many of whom have become Grammy Award winners.  Over 100,000 make their way to the Levitt Pavilion each year and in addition to enjoying the freshest sounds, the real focus is about building community as families, school groups, neighborhoods and people from all parts of the area to join side-by-side in a safe, fun, casual atmosphere to enjoy live music together. Enter this welcoming gathering place for free music for everyone under the stars. 

With the legacy of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers looming large over the entire city of Arlington, it's not surprising that an entire museum specifically dedicated to sports art is such a popular venue. Reputed to be the nation's largest art gallery devoted to sports, the Hall of Fame Museum is a unique and awe-inspiring museum featuring original pieces as well as lithographs, statues, uniforms, autographs and various other types of memorabilia that even the most causal sports fan will find impressive. This impressive facility is housed within the Rangers Ball park and it offers a comprehensive look at the team's origins, triumphs, trials, and the people who played vital roles in the evolution of this highly regarded baseball team. The various exhibits include rare photos, memorabilia, team uniforms and audio and video presentations.

There are many imitators but only one original Six Flags Over Texas. Affectionately referred to as "The Entertainment Capital of Texas," this iconic park sprawls out over 200 acres and includes rides, shows, attractions, and entertainment. The Texas Giant is the big rollercoaster that has been getting lots of attention lately, so make sure you get ready for a wild ride you'll want to experience again and again.
