For red-blooded American men, nothing screams "romance" like a big, juicy steak. Ladies, when it's your turn to plan date night, treat your man to a romantic dinner at Katz 21 Steak & Spirits. The restaurant has a little something for everyone, including top-shelf drinks, live music and of course, delicious food.
Take a swing at miniature golf - the perfect end to a great day at the beach. You can choose from two different courses at Treasure Island Golf & Games. Playing mini-golf at this attraction is a great way to end a long day at the beach, or take a break from the midday blazing sun in South Texas.
Test your swing on the Lozano Golf Center. The municipal golf course offers 18 holes of Texas-golf style play and a 9-hole executive course.
Padre Island National Seashore, the longest undeveloped stretch of barrier island in the world, has more than 133,000 acres of protected, natural beaches, white sand dunes, thriving grassland, saltwater marshes and a host of untouched wildlife. The 113-mile island is the perfect place for saltwater fishing, beachcombing, camping, hiking, boating, off-road adventures, and more. Stop by the Malaquite Beach Visitor Center for information, maps, fishing licenses, or a picnic.
