Every Saint Has A Past & Every Sinner Has A Future.

Bio: Fr. Raymundo Pena, the present Bishop Emeritus of Brownsville is the founding pastor. Back in 1969, together with the dedication and sacrifice of many parishioners, Our Lady of Guadalupe began with humble beginnings in the middle of the barrio.

Father James Farfaglia is a bilingual Catholic priest. He has spent six years working in different parts of Mexico. He loves the Hispanic culture and reminds his parishioners of their beautiful culture and heritage. About Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church: Simple, uncomplicated preparation for Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and Marriage.

We welcome the celebration of Quinceaneras. Father James and Deacon Botello preach dynamic, engaging, inspirational and motivational homilies. Our music program is lively with a balanced blend of the best of the new with a twist of the old.

Both Father James and Deacon Botello are available for the sick, the homebound and the dying 24/7. We have an engaging youth program and large outdoor recreational facilities for children and youth. The West Side of Corpus Christi has many needs. A lot of people are suffering from the challenges caused by broken homes and poverty.

The doors of our church are open to everyone. We are not here to judge anyone. Come join us and let Jesus change your life, even if that change takes place in small steps, little by little.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church is here to help everyone who comes through our doors to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to help everyone live a life full of meaning and joy. We want everyone to reach eternal salvation in Heaven. We follow all of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. We are dedicated to serving everyone 24/7.
