The Texas Trees Foundation aims to create a sustainable and green future for North Texas. They use research-based plans to educate and engage the public about the social, economic, environmental, and health benefits of trees and urban forestry, ultimately improving the region's quality. It is a community comprised of beautiful, well-maintained parks, shady tree-lined streets and boulevards, hiking, biking, and nature trails, and other outdoor amenities which combine to form a living and working environment that enhances the value of its commercial areas and its neighborhoods, and nurtures the health, safety, and quality of life of all its citizens; a community in which its citizens actively participate in building and sustaining its urban forest.

If you're a fan of natural wonders from around the world, then the Dallas World Aquarium is the place for you to visit if you want to experience them all in one place. Once inside, you'll embark on a world tour of the Earth's oceans and its unique bodies of water through exhibits and attractions. Encounter the bird's-eye view of the Secrets of the River Rainforest Exhibit, filled with birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles all living in harmony. Then check out the special South Africa exhibit that will transport you to the exotic land of Madagascar, where the permanent exhibits include fish, jellyfish, and coral from around the world, and visitors can even walk through a tunnel that runs through one of the large tanks, where you'll see sharks and manta rays swimming about.

The Greek Food Festival is an amazing event that celebrates everything Greek. There's much to see and do, from fun activities to delicious food, dancing, shopping, and even cooking demos. If you're a foodie, you'll love the cooking demos where you can learn how your favorite cuisine is made in Grandma's kitchen. And of course, you can't leave without sampling the tasty sweets and wonderful Greek food selection. Check out the inspiring Taverna where you can take a sip of Greek wine or  try Greek beer. The Marketplace is full of Greek-themed trinkets, and the cultural center and bookstore are great places to indulge your intellect.
