Laredo Little Theatre Laredo Little Theatre

Jamboozie Jamboozie

Comparable to the New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration, Laredo's Jamboozie is a colorful festival featuring music, masks and beads. The rowdy celebration fills over 20 blocks downtown and consists of exotic food, dancing, and international performers. Join in the conga line as Jamboozie breathes new life into Laredo's downtown streets.

Fort McIntosh Fort McIntosh

Established in the aftermath of the Mexican War and abandoned after World War II, Fort McIntosh served as a strategic guard for the Texas frontier. The fort is preserved as part of the Laredo Community College campus although the Laredo United States Army Reserve 340th Quarter Master Company continues to occupy the fort. It's definitely a sight to see for military history buffs.
